Valentine's Day

Yeah, I know it's March now. But I have been seriously lacking in the blogging department. So Chase and I did not celebrate Valentine's Day at all this year. We didn't get each other gifts because we don't have money. Our stake was putting on a Valentine's Sock Hop. We got all dressed up for it, showed up. Not to sound mean but it was like one of those stake dances that no one danced, and everyone just sat around. I think it would've been better if we had a couple to go with.
The next night. Chase and I crashed (maybe not crashed) our old wards Valentine's Dance. It was a lot more fun, and we actually danced. They did repeat a few songs, because there wasn't much to dance to. But we had a lot of fun, and even danced. Yup can you believe it he danced with me! Well it only happens once a year.

Sunday we went down to Chase's parents for dinner on Valentine's Day. Had a good dinner with the family. Monday I made this DELICIOUS Chocolate Elegance. Here's a picture of it.

It may not look the best but oh how delicious was it!

Here's the recipe from the website I got it from.

Chocolate Elegance

What You Need!

1-1/2 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup  sugar
2-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
6 squares  BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1 pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
1/2 cup  milk
1/4 cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds, toasted

Make It!

BEAT cream cheese and sugar with mixer until blended. Stir in 1-1/2 cups COOL WHIP with whisk; spread 2 cups onto bottom of 8x4-inch loaf pan lined with plastic wrap.
MELT 3 chocolate squares. Add to remaining cream cheese mixture along with dry pudding mix and milk; beat until blended. Spread over cream cheese layer in pan. Refrigerate 4 hours.
MICROWAVE remaining chocolate and COOL WHIP in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.; stir until blended. Cool slightly.
INVERT dessert onto platter. Remove pan and plastic wrap. Top dessert with chocolate glaze and nuts. Refrigerate until glaze is firm.

Here's the website I got it from just if you wanted to know how to make it and see a better picture of it. But you will definitely have to try this one out! I couldn't stop eating either! Yum! I want another one! Chase???

I'm glad you guys still did something fun, or tried to do something, for Valentine's day. Too bad people were acting like teenagers and not dancing.

The cake looks delish.
